DECREE ON ELECTRONIC LABOR CONTRACTS
On December 24, 2025, the Government officially promulgated Decree No. 337/2025/NĐ‑CP regulating electronic labor contracts, effective from January 1, 2026.
The Decree encourages the use of electronic labor contracts to replace paper‑based written contracts, and requires that the electronic labor contract platform be put into operation from July 1, 2026
Conditions for concluding electronic labor contracts
- The eContract platform must meet the technical and functional requirements as prescribed.
- The parties participating in the electronic labor contract must ensure the following conditions:

Validity of electronic labor contracts
An electronic labor contract takes effect from the moment the last party affixes their digital signature, with the time stamp attached to the digital signatures of the contracting parties, and the data message authenticated by the eContract service provider in the electronic labor contract, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
